About Jumada al-Thani
Jumada al-Thani (جُمَادَى الثَّانِيَة, Urdu جمادی الثانی) is month 6 of the Islamic Hijri calendar. Its name means "second month of dry land". Jumada al-Thani, also called Jumada al-Akhirah, is the sixth month and the last before Rajab.
Pakistan, India and Bangladesh begin Jumada al-Thani by local moon sighting, usually one day after Saudi Arabia, which follows the Umm al-Qura calendar. That is why this page shows two dates. The first of the month can still move by a day once the crescent is sighted or not.
